Freedom Fone Support
Getting started
- Freedom Fone needs a reliable Wi-Fi or mobile-data connection.
- Verify the account email, then allow microphone and notification access if you want calling and incoming alerts.
- Number countries, types, voice, SMS and short-code support vary. Only inventory shown as available in the app can be purchased.
- Normal signup does not request a government identity document. A country or number type that requires unsupported customer documents may remain unavailable.
Numbers and Keep Number
Telephone numbers are rented services controlled by carriers; they are not property that can be sold permanently. A standard number renews for the period and price shown before purchase. The optional Keep Number service reserves an active number for 12 months after its current paid period for £39.99, then renews annually from Freedom Fone credit. A failed renewal has a 30-day payment grace period before the number may be released.
Virtual or VoIP numbers may be rejected by WhatsApp, banks, social networks, short codes or other third parties. Keep Number prevents routine expiry while paid; it cannot guarantee third-party verification or permanent carrier availability.
Calls and messages
- Calls and ordinary SMS use the public telephone network and are not end-to-end encrypted. Freedom Fone does not record call audio.
- If a call drops or a message fails, confirm your connection, retry once, and send support the time, destination country and the last four digits of the affected number. Do not email message content, passwords or full payment details.
- Broadcast lists are for recipients who consented or with whom you have a lawful existing relationship. Spam, harassment, deceptive traffic and attempts to bypass carrier limits are prohibited.
- If traffic is restricted, the app should show a service state rather than silently discarding it. Contact support if you believe a restriction is wrong.
Billing, subscriptions and refunds
- Apple and Google process in-app purchases and subscriptions. Use Account & privacy → Restore purchases after reinstalling or changing device.
- Cancel an auto-renewing subscription in Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the Freedom Fone account does not cancel store billing.
- Credits are shared across eligible numbers and do not expire. Calls, messages, forwarding and number rental use credit at the rate shown in the app.

Privacy and account controls
- Choose message deletion after reading/sending, after 24 hours, after one week, or manually in Account & privacy.
- Optional encrypted contact recovery and optional Meta ad measurement are off by default and controlled separately.
- Delete an account inside the app, or follow the web deletion instructions if you cannot sign in.
- Request access, correction, export, restriction or deletion through Privacy Choices.
Contact and abuse reports
Email [email protected]. Include the app platform and version, what you expected, what happened and the approximate time. Never send a password, full card number, API key, recovery code or identity document by ordinary email.
To report fraud, threats, harassment or spam involving a Freedom Fone number, use the subject Urgent Freedom Fone abuse report. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services using a conventional telephone.
